About Pratham

Pratham was founded in 1995 to provide preschool education to children in Mumbai slums. Over the last 30 years, Pratham has grown to be one of the largest non-profit organizations working to provide quality education to children and youth in over 23 states and union territories across the country, through a range of interventions.

Pratham is a widely recognized organization, having received notable awards such as the Lui Che Woo Prize, WISE Prize for Innovation, Skoll Award for Social Entrepreneurship, the Henry R Kravis Prize in Leadership, and the CNN-IBN Indian of the Year for Public Service. Internship Description I Creativity Club Overview

Pratham's Creativity Club is a tech-enabled open learning model which aims to connect children (10-14) and youth (14+) with creative learning opportunities. The program aims to foster 21st-century skills (creativity, problem-solving, communication and collaboration) among children and youth through activities in art, science, math, sports, and more. The program operates on an inclusive 'All-Some-Few' approach, providing a nurturing environment where young minds can explore, experiment, and excel. Led by dedicated youth volunteers and teachers, the Creativity Club offers diverse activities that empower participants to become lifelong learners.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Field Visits & Observation
    • Visit Creativity Club locations (schools, communities, Creator Labs) to understand on-ground
    • Observe sessions, interact with youth, and conduct
    • Capture stories and document how activities run in different
  1. Documentation & Insight Gathering
    • Record on-ground insights, including youth experiences, challenges, stories of change, and good
    • Compile learnings from various locations into clear, structured

    • Collect qualitative and quantitative data to support monitoring and

Duration and Location

This will be an online and hybrid internship for minimum of 2 months.
